From a tool that switches providers to an assistant that changes how people handle money
Vwala is a Belgian personal financial assistant on a mission to bring financial peace of mind to every household in Europe. It started as an energy comparator. Today it connects to your bank accounts, shows where your money goes and helps you act on it, in minutes instead of days. We built the brand and the product together, from first identity to the app.
People don't lack information, they give up before they act
Checking the bank app, comparing, reading, deciding, remembering. Most people never make it to the end of that loop, so money keeps leaking out. Vwala exists to close that gap, and it starts with the biggest ask in personal finance: linking your bank account. The brand had to earn that trust while staying approachable for everyone, and it had to hold up well beyond a first impression, across a product, a campaign and a growing team.
Switching providers is the action, switching mindsets is the idea
Most people don't think they spend too much, they just never question what they pay. That insight became the positioning: "You're not overspending. You're overpaying." No blame, just relief, and a reason to act. The core of the brand is to help people switch by revealing where to look: your financial life has layers, and Vwala unlocks them.
Finn is the guide through every reveal, built into the system rather than added on top. And the system was built to be used, not admired: one component logic running from website to app, and a brand toolkit for campaign, advertising, motion and recruitment that speaks the same language wherever Vwala shows up.
A brand built to carry the bigger promise
Vwala is live, and the brand now runs across website, campaign, advertising and recruitment with Finn as the consistent guide. The native app is being built on the same foundation, with onboarding, home, spending and savings designed on the same component system, so nothing gets reinterpreted between brand and product. It's the base for growing from Belgian challenger to European contender.
